General

A 50-year-old male from Thirunallar commune was admitted under the Department of Orthopaedics with the diagnosis of fractured femur thigh bone) and L2 and L3 vertebra (spine) fractures following a fall from a 20-foot-high coconut tree.

Within a few hours of admission, we performed a successful surgery for the femur bone with an interlock nailing procedure.

After achieving hemodynamic stability, we successfully performed the first-ever spine surgery on 15th June 2024.
