Pediatrics

The Department of Pediatrics has made rapid strides since its inception in 2020. We provide quality education to MBBS students and give them a solid fundamental working knowledge of pediatrics as they venture into the clinical domains. The teaching is planned and regularly coordinated with the Department of Pediatrics (JIPMER Pondicherry). Effective self-directed learning is inculcated during the clinical sessions.

The students are encouraged to conduct small group discussions, problem-based learning, tutorials, quiz programmes and case presentations. Eventually, the Department of Pediatrics will make a great effort to reach a high standard of education and research.
